Stay at a fantastic seaside house with its own private beach access at Shoreham-by-Sea

Beach House is so secluded you could say it has its own exclusive beach! Being located at the end of the Shoreham Beach peninsula among similar large detached beach houses it enjoys its own private access directly on to the beach in an area that few people find.

This peninsula is enjoyed largely only by the residents and therefore provides a very unique beach setting. Being next to Shoreham Harbour and the estuary of the River Adur it has the added interest of the boating activity that goes in and out of a busy harbour. There is nearly always something to watch offshore.

Beach House is a beautifully presented, bright and airy detached house that looks straight out to sea. It offers great living space with a fully fitted modern kitchen and dining area. The lounge has a superb cinema system for your evening viewing along with daytime TV for the kids. It’s a room full of comfy sofas just great to chill on. It opens out onto the sun lounge which combines a modern desk workstation with full internet access should you want to keep in touch.

The house will sleep eight. It has two double bedrooms, one with ensuite shower facilities and there are two twin bedded rooms. One of these bedrooms is on the ground floor together with a separate shower room that has easy access.

This house is a totally child friendly home. It is just perfect for families, especially young children and has a beautiful wooden cot provided in one of the double rooms. The property also has stair gates fitted. Outside there is a barbecue, table, chairs and loungers everything you would expect from a house overlooking the beach!

Shoreham–by-Sea and beyond

Situated mid way between Brighton and Worthing, the curve in the shoreline here gives wonderful views either way, west towards the headland at Worthing’s Splash Point and east towards Brighton’s skyline and the cliffs beyond to Newhaven and Seaford.

Across the river from Shoreham Beach, Shoreham-by-Sea nestles along the north bank of the River Adur. It is a busy provincial town that retains much of its original character along with many traditional and local shops. The Norman Church of St Mary de Haura dominates the town skyline and makes a fine backdrop with the South Downs beyond.

Only two miles inland are the Downs, they form our new National Park. Should you fancy time away from the beach, there are beautiful walks with outstanding views to the coast and inland.

Five miles to the east is the vibrant cosmopolitan city of Brighton and Hove. For kids the Palace Pier and Sea Life centre is a must, for adults the decadence of the Royal Pavillion, once the summer home to the Prince Regent is worth seeing along with the nearby and very famous Brighton Lanes. Brighton is a hub for entertainment with a wide range of restaurants, bars and eateries, it’s a great family city, yet the privacy of Beach House is never more than a fifteen minute drive away.
