A great location for a self catering beach holiday - overlooking Littlehampton Green and East Beach!

Overlooking the Green and just metres from Littlehampton’s Blue Flag East Beach, this very comfortable apartment is perfect for a couple who want to be right next to the beach and who also want everything this popular Sussex seaside town has to offer close at hand.

You are definitely spoilt for choice of beach here with the East and West Beach as well as the popular beach at Climping being only a mile away. Between them is the River Arun from where you can enjoy boat trips, deep sea fishing trips, and for the more adventurous scuba diving and sailing!

East Beach Apartment is a one bedroom apartment that has been very tastefully refurbished to offer clean modern accommodation. Although it is ground floor it is reached by a short flight of steps from the road which gives it an elevated outlook. The living room faces south overlooking the Green while the excellent sized double bedroom is found at the rear of the apartment. There is a full bathroom with a power shower fitted above the bath.

The apartment is just a two minute stroll from the river estuary and the popular new bars and restaurants that line the river are only a short distance away. They bring a contemporary twist to the town, while the more traditional town centre is a five minute walk away.

Littlehampton and beyond

Littlehampton is a traditional seaside town that sits at the mouth of the River Arun. The town has two popular beaches that are either side of the river together with a bustling marina. Littlehampton’s West Beach links with the beach at Climping which is a place of special scientific interest that stretches for over two miles towards Elmer and Middleton.

The West Beach and Climping Beach is pretty much untouched coastline that are great for long walks and contrast with the East Beach which is ideal for those who just want to stay put, relax and enjoy lazy summer days!

The busy marina and river make Littlehampton a great place for watersports and for those who prefer just to enjoy the action then why not try Littlehampton’s latest attraction the Action Boat!

Travel north and you have the beauty of Sussex to explore. Arundel upstream on the River Arun and four miles away is a historic market town dominated by the symbolic castle and the rising spire of the cathedral. The town makes an imposing site when approached from the south. It offers a plethora of craft and antique shops as well as restaurants and tearooms. It’s a great place to wander and just enjoy its hospitality.

Arundel Castle is the seat of the Dukes of Norfolk and is set in 40 acres of sweeping grounds and gardens. The castle has been seasonally open to visitors for nearly 200 years. It is one of the great treasure houses of England and is home to priceless works of art in stunning rooms. Climbing the 131 steps to the Keep which dates from the 11th century to take in the views over Arundel and The South Downs is definitely worth the effort.

The River Arun winds its way around the town and is a magnet for wildlife. With more than 60 acres of ponds, lakes and reed beds, Arundel Wildfowl and Wetland Trust attracts some of the world’s most spectacular ducks, geese and swans. The best way to enjoy the river is on a river cruise stopping off at the Black Rabbit pub or proceeding further north where the river hugs the scarp wooded slope at the foot of the Downs before reaching Amberley.

Further afield Goodwood and Fontwell racecourses are nearby along with the cathedral city of Chichester with its excellent Festival Theatre noted for not only the quality of productions but also the fact many world premieres are featured as well.
