A perfect apartment to explore what the city has to offer!

Located on the East Walls of Chichester city centre, East Walls Apartment is central for everything that this historic city has to offer. With a first floor outlook over St Pancras, the Hornet and East Street this two bedroomed apartment with a double room and twin bedded room is exceptionally well equipped and offers you comfortable accommodation for a relaxing city stay. The apartment is bright and spacious has an ensuite shower to the main bedroom in addition to a good sized family bathroom. The living and dining areas are cleverly arranged so they offer two distinct areas within the one room. The windows on the right in the dining area look out on to the Hornet and St Pancras a part of the city that is always busy with activity and interesting to observe.

The city is very much at your fingertips, all the fine restaurants and bars are close at hand along with the comprehensive shopping found along the four streets that converge at the Market Cross at the city’s heart. The cathedral is next to the Market Cross in West Street while the Chichester Festival Theatre is a pleasant walk along the East Walls and on through Priory Park.

Chichester and beyond.

Chichester is one of the great well-preserved Georgian cities in the UK. It has played a key role in the affairs of Sussex since at least Roman times. The city’s broad streets are packed with Listed buildings headed by the towering presence of the cathedral now home to a family of peregrine falcons who swoop over the city at dusk.

The city centre is neatly enclosed within the ancient city walls, which helps to make Chichester compact and pleasant to explore on foot. It is a cosmopolitan, vibrant and friendly city proudly combining two thousand years of heritage with a lively lifestyle.

Chichester is also home to the famous Festival Theatre. It is renowned for its quality of productions as well as featuring many world premieres. We have a link to the theatre from our website under “What’s On”.

A couple of miles south west of the city you come to Chichester Harbour. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty with a plethora of wildlife that shares this delightful area with the sailing activity that abounds. The harbour is made up of a series of tidal creeks and Bosham (pronounced Bozzum) is probably the best known of the quayside villages and offers much of interest. The coast road round to the quay floods twice daily giving Bosham a changing outlook between low and high water. The church which is prominent in the village dates back to Saxon times, the earliest parts having been constructed during King Canute’s reign. Bosham is always bustling and is a joy to visit. The arts and craft centre, a popular visitor attraction contains many small craft shops and the Anchor Bleu pub which is so central to the village and overlooks the creek is very popular for lunches. Itchenor and Dell Quay are similar quayside villages where it is just enjoyable to absorb the activity that goes on.

Venture north to the South Downs, and Trundle Hill offers spectacular views back to the city as well as a great view over Goodwood Racecourse and the wonderful Downland hills that make this an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This is an area that has much to offer and it is worth enjoying both Chichester and these wonderful surroundings.
