A Warm Welcome!

Posted 30 October 2009 by Andrew Gardner google authorship button

Welcome to Amberley House Cottage Holidays. We started our project at Easter when my managing director Neil Moore was the original inspiration behind the idea to offer a dedicated marketing and letting service for second homeowners across Sussex. It has taken six months of hard work, many trials and tribulations that sometimes seemed never ending and there always appeared much to do with a list that never got any shorter!  However we have now made it to the market, taken some enquiries and have already come a long way in our journey!

May I introduce myself and my team.  My name is Andrew Gardner and my team is Anne Cooper and Rebecca Howard. who work with me part time while we build our business. Keeping a watchful eye on us is Neil, but then he's also got a successful estate agency business in Guy Leonard & Company to steer.

It is the core values at Guy Leonard & Company of flexibility, fairness and working with clients in a friendy professional manner that we want to extend to Amberley House Cottage Holidays, coupled with the fact that we live in Sussex and know Sussex and many visitors like to ask questions about Sussex. Our presence here therefore means we can provide you a more personal service and can react easily to your needs, factors which we feel give us a distinct advantage over the larger national letting agents.

I have lived here all of my life and am embarking on this new challenge with real enthusiasm. My background has been in sales and marketing within financial services for over twenty years and it's great to be able to use some of those skills and channel them into something new where I can combine them with the marketing knowledge and resource that Neil can offer through Guy Leonard & Company.

Today I live at the foot of the South Downs in Storrington close to Chanctonbury Ring. It is a great area to be and since I have grown up with the Downs on my doorstep it's exciting now to be able to work in Sussex and to do our bit to promote Sussex.  Over the last six months we have started to meet many new people across a wide range of occupations where we find we all have a common goal, that is to work together for the overall benefit of Sussex and the businesses that are within it.

We now need to work to grow our business, to broaden our portfolio and successfully implement our marketing. Let's see where we are by this time next year, doing well I hope.
