A Sussex Investment

I wrote in January about the changes to the Furnished Holiday Let regulations that come into force in the Finance Act 2011.

If the idea of owning a holiday let appeals to you, then I am aware of an ideal investment opportunity here in Sussex. This is a ground floor farm building that is awaiting conversion and has full planning permission as a holiday let. It will have two bedrooms one with an ensuite bathroom. The large living room and kitchen area wll have a vaulted ceiling something which is very popular amongst holiday guests. Outside there is a good sized private garden space along with parking for two cars. In high season we anticipate this conversion would achieve rental income in the region of £650 per week. 

So where is it?  Well it's in a great Sussex tourist area, two miles from Goodwood, so perfect for the Festival of Speed, the Goodwood Revival Meeting and of course Glorious Goodwood, events which attract many thousands of visitors into the area every year. Chichester city centre is a mere three miles to the west and the historic town of Arundel with its magnificent castle is just five miles to the east. 

Access to the coast is excellent, the Sussex beaches are only four miles south and the South Downs National Park is two miles north towards the pretty village of Halnaker.
