Do you need an excuse for a few days away?
Well, with its own Cathedral, Theatre and Harbour, Chichester is chic, beautiful and compact and deservedly the Capital of West Sussex. There is history on every corner, but also does modern very well too. In 2002 Chichester opened its own South Downs Planetarium, one of the largest in the UK, with spectacular shows of the night sky.
For those of you who wish to amble around the shops and enjoy good food there are lots on offer with many stylish Restaurants, Gastro Pubs and street Cafes. It is an ideal location for a break and yet you are only minutes away from the classic South Downs countryside and local beaches. You can also explore and experience the stunning views of the Sussex landscapes by walking, cycling or riding part of the South Downs Way.
An easy way to fill a whole week, never mind a long weekend!
