The travel section of the Daily Telegraph at the weekend of 11 September, carried a double spread guide to the South Downs. the 15th national park to be created. It is a thorough article featuring the stunning view of the Seven Sisters as its centre piece photo, one of the most recognisable views anywhere in the United Kingdom.
As the article says "Our newest national park it may be, but its heart and soul are as old as the hills that are the reason for its existence in the first place. These were created by the same geoligical cataclysm that forced up the Alps 40 million years ago when Italy smashed into Europe"
The guide covers walking and cycling, places to visit, eating and drinking and the Sussex coastline. Find out about some gorgeous coastal and country properties to rent.
