Fifty years of preserved steam in the heart of Sussex. Enjoy the Bluebell Railway from your self catering accommodation in Sussex.
The Bluebell Line is the first preserved standard gauge steam railway in the UK which reopened part of the Lewes to East Grinstead line of the old London Brighton and South Coast Railway. The line first operated steam trains between Sheffield Park and Horsted Keynes in 1960 and now operates services to East Grinstead where it links with the mainline rail services to London. The Bluebell Railway remains a true country branch line running through the heart of rural Sussex.
We have a number of self catering holiday cottages that we feature below that are close to the Bluebell Line and many cottages within easy reach across both East Sussex and West Sussex.
