Hickstead is world famous for showjumping, and the British Jumping Derby Meeting remains one of the highlights of the British Equestrian Calendar as it approaches its 50th year! Over 15,000 spectators flock to the Sussex Showground every year on Derby Day itself, to watch first hand the human and equine stars of the showjumping world, battle the formidable course, including of course the famous Derby Bank.
There is more to Hickstead though than just the Derby, with the Longines Royal International Horse Show held over four days in July. If you plan to enjoy all four days, then we can offer you a wide choice of fine self catering holiday accommodation near to the Hickstead Showground.
Here is our portfolio of self catering holiday cottages where there is current availability for the Royal International Horse Show.
