Holiday cottage, Brighton Marina, East Sussex
Great place to stay in Brighton
"This little holiday home was perfect for us at Brighton's Marina. The hustle & bustle of the town nearby with peace and calm and views of the boats. What's not to like?"
Ticks all boxes.
"Had a very comfortable stay. This accommodation offers a home from home experience. Wonderful location."

"Beautiful little apartment, big enough for two people, could not fault it for cleanliness and comfort, though the settee was a bit hard on one's back. Bedroom was quirky, very comfortable bed, and there was everything you needed in the kitchen . With beautiful views and plenty of restaurants three minutes walk away, this was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay."
"The apartment is comfortable and in a very good location as there are many restaurants literally on your doorstep. Brighton town centre and pier are within walking distance (1/2 hour). We had a great 4 days. The only gripe we had was that the cleaners did not clean the shower cubicle very well (hairs) and the furniture/floor was left rather dusty."
We are really pleased that you enjoyed your four days at 17 West Pier, but are sorry that you found a couple of areas not quite to your expectation. Please accept our apologies, we are glad it did not otherwise compromise your stay and I understand the owner did visit you Immediately when you contacted her. We are pleased though that the great location it provided you, with restaurants and the proximity to Brighton made your overall experience very pleasant and we were happy to agree to your request for both an early check in and later check out time.
"We stayed at 17 West Pier for 2 nights It was very comfortable, some nice views across the Marina and easy to get a bus into Brighton, we bought an M ticket on line which gives pretty much unlimited bus travel around the city The heating was a bit tricky, there is a storage heater in the living room so it took a while to get going but there was a secondary electric heater which soon had the place warm. The next morning once the storage heater had got going it was really warm! Some operating info would be good maybe "
This very individual accommodation for two is in the heart of the marina complex. These are wonderful upper tier apartments located on the pontoon that stretches out into the marina. If you want to enjoy the best of the Marina village then 17 West Pier could not put you in a more central location with the restaurants within the complex offering alfresco dining less than 100 metres away.
The accommodation is perfect for short breaks from two nights onwards and in many ways a stay here resembles a small suite found on board a cruise liner. Like a cruise ship it rises and falls about 25 feet each day!
Enter the accommodation and the living room opens out onto a private west facing balcony that overlooks the yachts moored below. As you enter there is a small galley kitchen which has a two ring induction hob, microwave oven and fridge with ice box. Enough to enjoy some light meals but with the wide choice of restaurants available you may decide against eating in! Upstairs there is a mezzanine double bedroom with a bed height window that looks east along the chalk cliffs over the mast heads towards Saltdean and Rottingdean. Downstairs there is a shower room with a large shower cubicle nicely packaged into the space that is available.
This vibrant south coast marina is a popular destination and is just two miles east of Brighton city centre. There is much on offer here and the village is completely self contained offering a wide choice of restaurants and waterfront shops. There is also a cinema complex, casino, bowling and organised boat trips. The marina also contains a large supermarket.
It is a pleasant walk west along the promenade to the centre of Brighton. The Volks Electric Railway, the first electric railway in England runs between the marina and Brighton Pier, linking you also to the Brighton Sea Life Centre.
Brighton is a cosmopolitan and bustling city offering a variety of interests to suit many tastes and fashions. It is famous for the Royal Pavilion, the summer palace of the Prince Regent. Close to the Pavilion is the Brighton Dome and the Theatre Royal. The Brighton Laines are a popular aea to saunter and enjoy with a variety of individual shops, jewellers, restaurants and bars. The North Laines has more recently become popular being a trendy area to visit.
Walk east from the marina along the lower cliff path and enjoy a pleasant and traffic free walk to Saltdean and Rottingdean.
