Swan Cottage Arudel
"We stayed in swan cottage for a week in July. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. The quality and cleanliness of the property is outstanding. very high spec kitchen appliances, good quality bed linen and towels and very importantly comfortable beds!. The cottage also boasts two parking spaces which are like hens teeth in Arundel.. You are also in walking distance of all places of interest in the town, including many excellent restaurants. "
"This beautiful new cottage is lovely decorated with lots of finishing touches. It provides everything you wish for. The bedlinnen and towels are top of the range. The centre of Arundel is just around the corner and we made nice walks along the river. Lots of opportunities for sightseeing nearby. We went to Brighton, Winchester, Chichester and visited Highdown Gardens. The owners were so friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome and had a great week. This is without a doubt one of the best cottages we ever stayed in. We would love to came back someday."
Very well furnished, comfortable and brand new.
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hosts went above and beyond in making sure that we were comfortable. The location was perfect for us and we hope to stay there again in the future. "

Arundel is a historic market town dominated by the symbolic castle and the rising spire of the cathedral. It offers a plethora of craft and antique shops as well as restaurants and tearooms. It’s a great place to wander and just enjoy its hospitality.
Arundel Castle is the seat of the Dukes of Norfolk and is set in 40 acres of sweeping grounds and gardens. The castle has been seasonally open to visitors for nearly 200 years. It is one of the great treasure houses of England and is home to priceless works of art in stunning rooms. Climbing the 131 steps to the Keep which dates from the 11th century to take in the views over Arundel and The South Downs is definitely worth the effort.
The River Arun winds its way around the town and is a magnet for wildlife. With more than 60 acres of ponds, lakes and reed beds, Arundel Wetland Trust attracts some of the worlds' most spectacular ducks, geese and swans. The best way to enjoy the river is on a river cruise stopping off at the Black Rabbit pub or proceeding further north where the river hugs the scarp wooded slope at the foot of the Downs before reaching Amberley.
Further afield Arundel is well placed for the coast. Climping Beach and Littlehampton’s West Beach are only a short drive away. This is a beautiful unspoilt length of beach of Special Scientific Interest and at the eastern end beside the mouth of the River Arun is the West Beach Café built by local craftsmen using materials sourced locally. It is well worth a visit, the fish and chips come highly recommended!
Goodwood and Fontwell racecourses are nearby providing a host of events throughout the year and, for theatre goers, there is the option of travelling a short distance to Chichester to see the excellent productions at the Festival Theatre.
