Arundel, Pulborough and the Sussex Coast

We have a range of holiday cottages in Arundel which is a splendid market town dominated by its castle and cathedral. Arundel Castle is the seat of the Dukes of Norfolk. The town is situated on the lower slopes of the South Downs and is midway on the South Downs Way long distance path that links Winchester with Eastbourne.

Arundel holiday cottages for rent

Arundel has a plethora of antique shops, small boutiques, restaurants and tearooms. The River Arun flows through the town offering pleasure boat trips upstream past the Arundel Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre to the Black Rabbit pub and on to Amberley and Houghton villages.

Our holiday cottages in Arundel are located central to the town along both the major streets, Tarrant Street and Maltravers Street. Within minutes of Arundel you can be in the heart of the South Downs National Park, the latest national park to be created in England for over 60 years.

Beautiful villages like Amberley with the fascinating Amberley Working Museum which relives the industrial heritage of Sussex are well worth a visit during your cottage holiday break. Rural cottages in the South Downs are perfect for those who want a relaxing break, and for holidaymakers who enjoy walking and cycling, there are many miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore.

The River Arun bisects the South Downs at Amberley where to the north there are the picturesque wildbrooks heading towards Pulborough. From our cottages in Pulborough you can visit the RSPB Pulborough Brooks reserve and enjoy the wildlife habitat from raised viewing points, board walks and hides.

Holiday cottages in Bognor Regis and Aldwick are perfect for a sunshine filled family holiday by the sea. To the east is the seaside resort of Littlehampton and between the two is the two mile stretch of unspoilt beach at Climping, an area of Special Scientific Interest which is lined by sand dunes behind the beach.

Both Littlehampton and Bognor Regis are perfect for families with a great mix of restaurants and fun activities for the family so you can make the most of your cottage holiday on the south coast. There is much more than just the beach at these seaside resorts with a busy marina and harbour in Littlehampton, offering boat and fishing trips out to sea while the watersport enthusiast can enjoy sailing and windsurfing at the Littlehampton Sailing Club.

We hope you will agree there is little to leave you bored during your cottage holiday along the Sussex coast.
